Well day one for our project with Alice Shaw was too much fun!
The theme for the day’s shooting was an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ come ‘Hansel and Gretel’ style forest walk and even before post-production, we’re loving the footage.
Alice’s hair was styled by Alex Martinez at Ciscos Karma, Brighton – and her jewellery was provided by “Cat and Bang”.
Luckily the weather held off enough for us to get a good day’s footage – not to mention keeping Alice’s hair and outfit in perfect condition!
The next scene of the shoot is located on Brighton seafront where we will begin to tell the story behind Alice’s beautiful song.
More photos of the shoot will be up in our video section of the site soon, so keep an eye out.
Just a little post to let you know that the head of web & 3D (Ed) has signed up for the Brighton Marathon next April. He’s running it in support of ‘Help For Heroes’, so if any of you are kind enough to sponsor him… click the picture below.
Well, what else needs to be said about a film that involves taking around 125,000 individual pictures and editing them together to produce something simply stunning? Answer: nothing… but we will anyway!
As we know, even producing short ‘idents’ or video edits can be enough of a task – but creating hand made models for every piece of the film means the production team need a huge nod of the cap.
Homer has always been the guilty party when it comes to crazy cartoon antics but it would seem his wife is the new culprit.
Since working with Playboy owner Hugh Hefner in the early 90’s episode ‘Krusty Gets Kancelled’ she has obviously kept in close contact in hope of any new projects.
It marks The Simpsons 20th anniversary as the most loved cartoon family for all ages.
Putting Marge on the cover is an attempt to draw in a younger audience for the soft porn magazine.
“We knew that this would really appeal to the 20-something crowd,” said Playboy spokeswoman Theresa Hennessey.
This is not the first time a cartoon character has been published as a playboy cover girl. Back in November 1988 the sexy wife of Roger Rabbit, Jessica had the gig with a lot more subtle yet seductive red sparkly number.
Jessica Rabbit was in Playboy in 1988
The Marge edition will go on sale in the America on 16 October, get yours if you can handle the embarrassment down at WHSmiths in town.
We think its a huge step for the Simpsons but one that will get the show the publicity it deserves for being one of the first cartoons to have humour for every age range.. Good work guys!!
